2026 – 2027

GEF-ICCA Phase II: Enhancing Resilience of Etinde Community Forest Communities

FAAFNET is working with nine communities around the Etinde Community Forest, buffer zone of the Mount Cameroon National Park, on plantain, cassava and maize value chains, agroforestry and tree nurseries, modern beekeeping and green entrepreneurship. Funded by GEF Small Grants Programme and UNDP.

Etinde Multipurpose Farmers' Cooperative holds constituent general assembly

Farmers from the Etinde communities came together to create and strengthen a multipurpose cooperative, giving members a shared structure for marketing, training and access to inputs.

2025

UNDP Farm Rehabilitation Programme in Ekondo Titi Municipality

FAAFNET rehabilitated 20 hectares of cocoa and palm farms, trained 20 farmers on sustainable palm, cocoa and cassava production, distributed tools and equipment and established a farmer cooperative to restore livelihoods in crisis-affected communities.

Farm tools and inputs handed to Ekondo Titi farmers

Farmer representatives received wheelbarrows, farm inputs, tools and equipment sponsored by UNDP through FAAFNET, supporting the return to production after the crisis.
